Perth Biodesign programs are tailored for, and run by, the Perth Life Sciences ecosystem. Our courses cover the steps of the entire commercialisation journey but specialise in identification and validation of the unmet need, ideation around the unmet need and early stage commercialisation.

Perth Biodesign for Medtech

Our flagship, 7 month part-time course in which teams of engineers, clinicians, researchers and business professionals find unmet clinical needs and create a medical technology solution.

Perth Biodesign for Digital Health

A new, 3 month part-time course in which teams of clinicians, researchers, software and IT specialists and business professionals find unmet needs and create a digital health solution. Run in partnership with Curve Tomorrow.

iPREP Biodesign

A 7 week industry and PhD engagement program run in partnership with iPREP WA. PhD candidates spend 7 weeks working closely with local healthcare companies and health systems on an industry problem in healthcare.

Biodesign Medical Technology Innovation Course at UWA

A new, micro-credential short course available through UWA in which students have the opportunity to identify and research real clinical needs and plan medical technology solutions.

Biodesign Bootcamps

Two full-day intensives taking participants through the entire Biodesign process - from need identification to implementation. Perfect for anyone considering the extended courses or time-poor professionals unable to commit to the full course.
